During an early morning exploration of the forest in the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, I found this reclusive, camera-shy fir tree that seemed to be shying away from a morning glow-up. One of the many treasures I discovered while taking my youngest daughter on her first backpacking trip (she loved it). It also narrowly missed out on being in my Photo Calendar, which just went to the printer. So I thought I would give it its due, even if it hates the spotlight. I can’t wait to show you all the new work coming to the site. Stay Tuned!
